Philip Myers has many extremely gifted musicians supporting him on the stage in the many different shows he performs for corporate events. Below are photos and bio information on the talented artists who travel with Philip for one or more of his shows. Philip's band musicians do an incredible job with a wide variety of music ranging from jazz standards, pop, top forty, rock 'n roll, Latin, hip-hop, fifties standards, and classic oldies. Philip has a new dance band used exclusively for clients who want a great dance band for an event; more details about this new band will be posted soon.
DANNY MANNING

Danny Manning performs as "Billy Joel" in the Elton John/Billy Joel Tribute show, as well as opposite Philip in the Dueling Pianos Show. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and Saxophone Performance from Alderson Broaddus College, and a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. He is the director of the Xavier University Singers, Adjunct Professor of Musical Theater at XU, and the director/founder of the Cincinnati Youth Musical Theater Ensemble. Other credits include Director of Music for many productions at the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music Preparatory Department. His band credits include perfomances with Ben Folds, The Turtles, Night Ranger, and Fuel.


ALEX LUSHT

Alex Lusht contributes to Philip's performances not only on the stage playing bass and acoustic guitar, but also as his sound engineer. He earned a BA in Music Composition and Audio Production from Penn State, and then attended and later taught at The Recording Workshop. Alex has performed on stage with bands Chief's Tale, Gibb Droll, and Blessid Union of Souls. His sound engineering experience includes running Front of House sound at the legendary club The Bottom Line in Manhattan NYC, where he mixed and recorded many top artists including bluegrass legend Doc Watson, rock icon Billy Idol, and jazz master Bill Bruford. His sound engineering received rave reviews from both performers and audiences alike. In addition to touring with Philip, Alex enjoys producing and engineering records and videos at Mind Ignition in Cincinnati, where he also heads up the live sound department.


BILL McCARTHY

As a seasoned drummer and vocalist, Billy has performed on award winning albums, films, commercials, radio and television broadcasts. He graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in Communications with a background in acting, theater and music. Billy's touring and artist credentials include performances with Katie Reider, whose songs "What you don't know", "Piece of Soul" and "Silent Night" were featured on ABC, Lifetime's Strong Medicine and WB's Dawson's Creek. Billy also toured with Nathan Whitt in support of his singles "Shadow Jumping", and "Charade", which both reached the Top 40 Charts. He has also shared the stage with War, Blessid Union of Souls, and Cory Stevens to name a few.


CHRISTIAN ROBLES

Guitarist Christian Robles went to Berklee College of Music on a Fender guitar scholarship, and finished his performance degree at Indiana University. His stage experience includes playing with artists Bootsy Collins, Shalamar, and Members of P-Funk and James Brown's band. Christian's incredible guitar skills have also led him to opportunities to play with high profile acts such as Ben Folds, Night Ranger, Grass Roots, Bad Finger, Pablo Cruise, Fuel, Shinedown, The Turtles, and King Missile.


KIM GROSSMAN

Kim is a classically trained pianist who performs with Philip on the "Intimate Acoustic" shows. She graduated from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) and has extensive accompanying experience with choirs and vocalists. She makes her home in Cincinnati, where she has been a piano instructor for many years.


ANDRE BARTON

Born in North Hills California, Andre Barton grew up in Ohio. He received a BS in political science from Ohio University in 99, and an MS in Urban Development in 2001.
Andre has had the great pleasure of playing with a wide variety of musicians such as Al Green, Louie Bellson, Dees Guys, Christian McBride, Joe Lavano , Mike Scott ,Jill Scott, The Roots ,Sterlin Colvin and the Improve, and many others.
Currently he appears as the lead sax player for many of Philip Myers' performances.


EVAN DUCHENE

Drummer Evan DuChene graduated from Syracuse University's school of music with a dual degree in music education and music performance. After college he toured the U. S. for several years with Inner city Recording Artist DryJack, backing up artists such as McCoy Tyner and Freddie Hubbard.

Since that time Evan settled in the Central New York area. He has performed with many national artists such as Leslie Gore, Santos and Johnnie, The Four Aces, and jazz greats Chuck Lamb, Nick Brignola and Dizzy Gillespie.
